Brake Line to Gear Leg?

I ran the brake lines from the firewall down the FRONT of the gear legs as one of the drawings (C2 I think) shows this however C3 shows them on the back of the gear leg but with a note that says either way is good. Anyone running the brake line down the front of the leg have any problems with this position?

Ran mine down the front side due gear leg stiffeners on the back side. No issues.
