Default SOLD RV-7A Project Nearing Completion

Here’s your chance to get an incredible deal on a quality built RV-7A project, save thousands, and shave years off your build. Here’s the story… I have built three other aircraft, but unfortunately I’m running out of the steam needed to finish this project, particularly after I had both knees replaced a year ago.

As you’ll see in the pictures and the brief description below, I have almost every part you’ll need to quickly turn this project into a beautiful and high quality RV-7A.

All of the work is top-notch; my friends joke that I could have had this plane completed two years ago if I wasn’t worried about getting every rivet perfect. For full disclosure, the leading edge of the left fuel tank was dinged slightly while moving it. It looks to be a relatively simple repair, but just in case, included in this project is a complete left wing tank kit from Van’s (ready to be assembled).

Below are a few pictures and a brief description of what’s included. If interested in more details, please contact me and I can send you a complete spec sheet with full details and more photos.

The kit is located outside of Granbury, Texas (approximately 1 hour southwest of DFW).

I have over $125K invested in this project and am looking to get around $100K. Please contact me at: jpkleber49@gmail.com

Thanks,
John Kleber

I know that John doesn't have a lot of posts on VAF, but I want to vouch for him and the quality of his project. I've been over to his hangar several times to look at his project, and his workmanship is top notch. Someone is going to get a heck of a deal on this project!

I have been John’s technical counselor on this project. The workmanship is indeed exceptional and John has incorporated many clever details in his build that a future owner will be proud of.

I also know John personally and this build - in fact I have been the second set of hands for a few of the difficult rivets. John is one of the highest quality builders I have met, and this is one of the highest quality builds I have seen. In addition, John has incorporated several deviations from the plans that are worthwhile improvements (for example, he designed an improved brake cyclinder-to-pedal attachment that I incorporated in my RV14 build). This can be a gorgeous airplane!

I’ve known John since 1982. I’ve watched
& help him build a Thorp (T-18), Lancair Legacy RG
and his current project RV-7A. I can contest to
there no builder than John. Anyone buying this project can
rest assured that the workmanship is second to none.
