Since having installed my 8A fuel system sometime back I was never really comfortable with the stock 'up and over' installation of the fuel filter, I also spoke with AFP and they felt that a lateral installation better suits their product as it helps avoid vapour/air lock in the looped part of the original Vans plans.
Now I see that newer kits now have a better configuration that I would like to adopt but.....
I need the following help please?
1) Dimension and location of the F-802R-L-1 bulkhead hole for the fuel/return pass through.
2) If poss, location of the fuel filter bracket/cradle pre drills (4) on the F-890-1.
I would like to refit as close as possible to the 'new stock' installation procedure as detailed in drawing 82A, now they no longer include dimensions I need someone to get their rulers out!
Photos of recent installations would also be useful and interesting to see.
Any other tips gratefully accepted.
