Default Creve Couer, MO Pilots N Paws pilot Robert Blumenshine

The airplane in the photo is obviously an RV-8, but the story says the pilot flies a Bonanza.
Anybody know the pilot, Robert Blumenshine? Google searches reveal he was an airline pilot just a few years ago. Anybody know if he is active in these VAF forums?
