Default Tailgate Express!

The 11am college football game times seriously limit tailgating fun - especially if you are 200 miles away. The RV makes it possible to see the college buddies and our youngest at our Alma Mater, Iowa State, in Ames!

Andi and I launched at dawn - cool, crisp and smooth.....

Sunrise over the breadbasket.....

Land at Ames International, unfold the bike, and ride over to Jack Trice Stadium for the festivities.

The Payoff....Kate, yours truly, Seth, his Dad Ken(F-16, A-320, and RV-7A Driver). Ken and I were buddies at Iowa State. Seth is Ken's son and he and Kate are good friends @ISU now.

A couple hours of tailgating, lunch with Kate, and smooth ride home. Even got Bravo clearance over Minne to finish off the day......

Home in time to mow the lawn and make Chili with Andi. Oh - Cyclones won 26-13. Pretty good day all around!

Those are wonderfully sharp and clear pictures over Minne. What camera and lens do you use for your photos?

Default smartphone Cams

I have a Moto G5+ and Andi has a Iphone SE. The pics were run thru google photos for cropping and tweaking. The G5+ has HDR turned on. I took about 20 photos over the city at deleted 18....... I bat about 10% with cameras.

Cool photos! You can't mention a folding bike (singular), but we're missing a photo! Folding tandem?

I've no interest in ball games, but I would attend one if I got to fly and bike there! (As long as the time on the bike exceeded the time required to spend at the game anyway....)

I get to fly, assemble the bike, load the wife on the luggage rack(she stands) and pedal us over to the stadium. After tailgating, I pedal us back, fold the bike and fly us home.

Flying and biking are my things, so it works for everyone. Getting high 5's from drunk tailgaters as we ride by has become one of our favorite things.....

What Pete sort of glossed over is that they don't always go to the games...just the tailgating!
