Smoke System for RV-12

I recently heard that you could not put a smoke system on the RV-12 because it used the Rotax engine. That is completely false, the Rotax makes good smoke if you have the right parts. I have special Rotax smoke oil injectors that are included with every complete smoke system kit. Just make a note on your order that you have a Rotax engine.
Now you can smoke out a runway, fly formation, or just help people spot you in the traffic pattern. Smoking is fun.

The story about not putting smoke on a Rotax may be left over from the Rotax 2-stroke engines. It is not a good idea to put smoke on a 2-stroke because it tends to foul up the exhaust tuning that those engines are dependent on.
