GRT AOA plumbing

The GRT AOA install documentation suggests using an AOA probe like the Dynon probe or a second tube pointed about 45 degrees down just under the pitot to determine the AOA.

I already have the Advanced Systems AOA plumbed with the two sensor tubes at the top and bottom of the wing, about 18" back from the leading edge.

Does anyone know if the lower tube from the Advanced Systems AOA would be a usable source of pressure for the GRT AOA?

In theory, it seems like it would work, since the GRT seems to be looking for a source of pressure increase as AOA increases, but it would be interesting to know if anyone has used this pressure source with the GRT. Thanks!
