The Fly-in Announcement Section

In a few weeks (June 18-19) Drake Field in Fayetteville, Arkansas is putting on an show to benefit the air museum with such performers as Bobby Younkin, Jimmy Franklin, USAF A-10 demonstration team and the Masters of Disaster - much more substantial than what I saw at Sun 'n Fun. I was so impressed (and I'm not easily impressed anymore) that I posted it at that site and determined that planes flying in at other than the airport closure time from 1 to 5 each day. Only 84 people looked at it. The folks from Iowa posted a notice about their fly-in catering specifically to RVs in a couple of weeks - less than 20 looked at that. Then I l saw that the Rebel's Bluff fly-in for RVs and Rockets is still shown even though it happened weeks ago. Something probably should be done to perk up the section of the Forum or delete it.

Are they showing up in the daily posts list?

I don't recall ever seeing a fly-in announcement in this daily
summary, but I'll start looking. I did notice when I went to
the announcement section there were two posts in the last
24 hours. I'll have to keep an eye on that to see if I'm just
not noticing them, or if they don't show up.
