Any one ever think about DSTAR vs APARS from the airplane?
Icom just released an ID-51 something HT that finds the nearest repeaters based on GPS position.
Apparently a DSTAR position report can be somehow sent to the APRS system ... anyone know how??
Anyone ever wire a ham radio into the audio system of the plane so you can use the audio panel and airplane mike/headset for the rig?
What don't I know?
