6.00 x 6 wheel pants

Good morning,

Does vans offer 6.00 x 6 wheel pants? If so what model of RV are they for? I am assuming RV-10?

The Van?s wheel pants are for the RV-10.

James Cowl also sells this size of wheel pant. I used them on my RV-10.

The Vans 10 wheel pants are for 15/6.00 X 6 tires, which have a smaller diameter than a standard 6.00 X 6.. Not sure if a standard 6.00 X 6 tire would fit in them, but I doubt it. I suspect someone may have checked or tried.

I am using 16? 6.00 x 6 wheels. I want to make sure that they will fit a RV wheel pant or a James Aircraft pressure recovery pant. The aircraft is a experimental Pa-20 Pacer.

James Wheel Pants

I have a new set of Sam James RV-10 wheel pants. In the largest x-section of the wheel pant, at the tire location, the dimensions are...

14" tall
10" wide

The overall length is 44" long. Go to the Sam James website... there is a photo of the installed wheel pant with the 15/6.00x6 tire and you can see the clearance. I really do think they'll work fine for the 16" tires... although alot depends on how you mount them.
