Standard RV-10 windshield UV Filtering?

Hi - I searched the forums but couldn't find an answer already posted ... Is the stock RV-10 windshield UV filtering (similar to car windshields)? I'm considering getting Transitions lenses and there are different types that work better/worse under various conditions.

Cheers,
Jeff

I’ve tested dozens of aircraft plexiglass including Vans and confirmed that plexiglass blocks 99% of UV light waves. Tinting reduces IR transmission.
Plexiglass by itself is very poor medium for UV transmission.
Lenses requiring UV for function will fair poorly. High performance aircraft that have laminated glass for birds, hail, and pressurization will almost always have a polarizing treatment due to light wave intensity at higher altitudes making polarized sunglasses a poor choice.

Thanks. They now make Transitions in a version called XTRActive which darken even when exposed to UV filtered light.
