Battery Angle Nutplates

For anyone that has completed steps 6-8 on page 10-11 of the Empennage plans.

In Figure 3, it shows to rivet 10 nutplates, but there are 12 nutplate locations. The 10 grouped together aft, and the two forward locations.

On subsequent pages, it shows nutplates installed at the forward locations in the drawings. See page 10-13 for example.

I looked through the remaining empennage instructions and did not see where it says to rivet nutplates at those two forward locations.

Does anyone know if these nutplate locations are used? Why would the holes be prepunched for them, if they are not going to be used?

Thanks

F-1037B is an RV-10 part used on the RV-14.
Those two holes are not used for the RV-14
