I invented another use for my baby's diapers.
I discovered it helps avoiding oil mess aroung the filter while removing the filter. Don't know if someone else posted something similar.
Anyway.
Open the drain valve on the engine case and let the oil flow.
Loose the filter with the wrench, if needed, but not too much. Just as necessary to continue moving it by hand.
Take a 4 years old diaper (Pampers 5) and place it below the filter. Slightly turn counterclockwise the filter just to make the air pass but stopping before big quantity of oil exits.
Wait half an hour for the oil to find its track out the filter via the engine case.
At last, unscrew completetely the filter.
If correctly done, you will have no oil drops around at all.
