Default WTB RV-9

Needs to have a tip-up canopy. Prefer 9, but will consider 9A. Prefer IO-360 and CS prop. Will consider others, down to O-320 with FP prop. Have cash.
Thanks,
John C

Good luck John.

The RV-9 is a bit of a rare bird and even more so with a tip-up and O-360.

I can think of one that meets your requirements and I'm not selling.

That said, it is a great plane!

That wish list sure sounds like a needle in a haystack to me. Good luck in your search you're gonna need it.

John came by my hangar today and is ready to buy. He has RV experience and F-4 experience too. If anyone knows of an available 9 or 9a, let him know. We can use another good RV guy up here in Idaho!

Mine fits the bill except (no) CS prop, but don't think I want to sell it. Good luck finding what you want.

I also looked for a RV-9 before going with a RV-7. I love my 7 and enjoy doing acrobatics. However, my primary mission is cross country and those higher efficiency wings and flaps would be nice to have.

It was suggested to me by several people that if I couldn't find a RV-9, I should consider buying a RV-9A and converting it to a RV-9. Just a thought...

I am going to be putting my -9A on the market soon (Should've listened to the KRviatrix - we need 4 seats now), but it's probably too far to be realistically considered.

If it isn't, it has the tip-up, an O-340 and the Sensenich GA prop.

JeffK,
You and I are on the exact same page. I couldn't agree with you more on each item you mentioned.
Thanks,
John
