Default RV8 fuel tank attach bracket

Doing a condition inspection on an RV8 and wondering if the fwd.fuel tank attach bracket have a slot for release similliar to that used on the RV7?

yes. Slot is shown on the wing side bracket on dwg 80.

Early ones didn't have a slot. The slot was adopted later.
