RV-3 sliding canopy

I have a rv3 with standard canopy and would like to have a slider. Does anyone make a conversion kit?

Not to my knowledge. One of our local RV3 builders had his slider welded up per the slider option drawings by a local aircraft builder. It?s kind of a custom fit deal. All of the RV3s on the field (5) have sliders and all present some rather unique entry/egress issues. Especially if you are wearing a backpack parachute. I have an older RV3 with a slider and it?s snug.

Thanks Frank. I didn't think about problems getting in and out. Will try to find one at OSH this year and see if the owner will let me sit in it. I am 6' tall and weigh 200lb so I might have trouble. I live in Memphis and taxing with an open canopy would be nice in summer.
