Rivet Fuselage Middle Section on QB RV-8

Good morning volks!

When is the best time to rivet the middle section of the fuselage?
I cannot find the section in the instruction...

I'm wondering if the holes are already drilled to #40 - even if the holes come already counter sunken and dimpled - since hardly one rivet fits...
Do we need to pre-drill the holes?

Here is a picture linked for clarification:

Thanks for your help!

Best regards

Now. I waited to long when I built mine and as you install more stuff it only becomes harder (not impossible) to reach the rivets. As far as I can tell those rivets are not mentioned in the sections of the manual which refer to the QB kit (at least not the 2010 version). I guess that's why Van's tells you to read the whole manual.... . Just make sure you don't use any of the holes you need for the turtledeck or the front skin.

Also have a look at the screws which go into the bottom of the gear box. They weren't mentioned either and again installing them later makes live just a bit more difficult.
