The FAA has proposed an AD requiring removal of their ADSB units from the aircraft :

From what I have been able to tell neither of the things the FAA alleges are true. The source of the GPS signal is a certified signal. The FAA is asking for comments before December. All of the action apparently comes from the FISDO in Ft. Worth. It comes down to a single digit in the data sequences that is a software setting that they say is wrong.There apparently not been any events when the units has shown faulty locations data.
WE have this unit in our airplane and it works well. Just another time when the FAA either mean spirited or trying to stamp out General Aviation.
