Koger sunshade initial fabric gluing

NM Doug

Well Known Member
I'm in the process of installing a Koger sunshade in our 9A slider. When I slide the fabric on the bows, if I slide it to the first angle in the bow as in the photo, there's still some lateral slack in the fabric (or some extra width beyond the bow). Is this how it's meant to go, or is the intention for me to slide the fabric somewhat over that angle toward the channel, before adding the drop of superglue?

Side shade

It is helpful to pull the shade away from the center when the sun is coming from the side. Don't glue it.

Ditto. My Koger spends about half it's life slid down to one side or another when I fly in the early morning or late afternoon. Not sure why anyone would glue it.
