Damaged ignition leads. Repair? Replace?

So I decided to replace the engine baffle fabric on my vintage 96 6A. I thought I was showing great foresight by taping craft paper over the top of the engine so I wouldn't end up with an engine full of rubber and metal shavings from grinding off the rivets.

Well, I managed to damage two of the ignition leads (that I now couldn't see) with the grinder. One is just a few wires of the shielding while the other goes well into the insulator. Fortunately they are both on the same mag so I can just replace the one harness, but I was curious if this was something that can be repaired?
