Will it fit?

Does any know if a Lycoming oil filter adapter will fit a conical mount RV-4?

I was concerned with mount and firewall clearance.

Engine is O-320-A2B.

Tim, I am not sure I fully understand what a Lycoming oil filter adapter is, but you have no other answers.

If you go to my blog (below) and then to the most recent entry under firewall forward you will see some pictures of P-mags with oil filters in the background. Not sure it is what you want though.

It will fit

That pic was of a Dynafocal mount. However, the fit is about the same with the conical mount. I use the short style filter and there is plenty of room.

Absolutely...

I had a Lycoming adapter on my conical mount narrow deck 0-320 for 10 years with plenty of clearance using several different oil filter brands.
No worries...
