GRT HXr AOA set up

Has anyone gone through this process and has any helpful hints?

I have some training set up for tomorrow and while I have an extra set of eyes wants to set it up. Thanks

I've done it on our HX with its Adaptive AHARS. Very simple. Follow the written instructions. They match up with the on-screen prompts, so once you've read the manual and understand the process, and understand how to get to the calibration menu in flight, the rest is easy once you're actually flying.

Also, make sure you've got the audio output hooked to an unswitched/unmuted input on your audio panel. I find I take far more cues from the beep tone than from the on-screen AOA indexer.
