Today I finished the wheel pants. What a b...! Now that the wheel pants, upper & lower fairings and leg fairings are done, it's time to fly again! I am going to fly the rest of the 11 hours off so I can get all the aero done and in the logbook. I will be testing the temperatures, which all have been running high, so hopefully the wheel pants will help with speed to get more cooling. Once I get past the 40 hours, I am going to put any finishing touches on the wheel pants, put micro on the rivet line on the cowling and add the RV-14 covers for the pins. I'll have to cut the existing hinge in the cowling a little to add the covers, but I like the look better.
