RV-12 Rudder Pedal Extensions

Hi Roger,
You will go around in circles with this one. Vans does say they have them in the PAP or one of the other final documents you receive. However when you try to order them there is nothing they stock and they do not have any information.
If you search the forums there are two styles which both have merits.
I will need some for my plane for my wife.

Van's produce some extensions now?

Only difference from the pictures was to use a nylon insert rather than wood in the top of the brake pedal (only there as a bolt guide) to keep the UK authorities happy.

PS Extended seat back rest works well, too.

Van's Extended Rudder Pedal Blocks
Mitch Lock mentioned to me that Van's had these available. I called Van's and it took a bit but they were found:
F-1290A and F-1290B. Cost was $26 and $25 respectively
If my memory serves they were 5/8" thick.
I don't know which part number is for the brake and which is for the rudder pedal. I installed only the lower rudder pedal block as I felt my foot rested more comfortably at an forward angle versus more upright. During my taxi testing this arrangement worked very well.
My 5'9 inches still wished to be closer to the panel so I had Abby at Flightline Interiors make a two inch seat back booster for $47. This combination did the trick for me.
