The information that I post is just that; information and my own personal experiences. You need to weight out the pros and cons and make up your own mind/decisions. The pictures posted may not show the final stage or configuration. Build at your own risk.

It has been a while. I started doing some testing of the exit area. Attached is a pic. I will be posting small videos later on this week. I have learned a lot in a 45 minute flight. Some things I figured were happening, some I had no clue.

This particular pic was at 179 KTAS, 2700 rpm and 8,000ft DA.

Bruce, good luck in your quest. I know Dave. I also know his work. Very smart guy.

We can do pics of the plane anytime.

Break

Dave's exhaust is very different than mine and the exit ramp will also be different as a result. Hoping the videos and work i do helps me optimize my set up (4 pipe).

Hey Ax, can't see the photo.

Gotta be careful here. That's probably a 2" improvement in manifold pressure, the baseline being some past induction system with losses. It's not possible to net a 2" manifold pressure rise above freestream pressure at 243 mph.

Dang Google pics. Works sometimes and not others.

Bruce,
I like to minimize the thread drift and keep it related to my fastback. I know of Dave and his plane. I am sure you can get there with hard work. That is also my goal. Thank you.

Works now. Looks like good velocity aft of the center portion, but a significant wake aft of the pipe ends.
