Hey all,

Looking for an old AFS EFIS that i'm sure someone has sitting on a shelf after an upgrade! Has to have the EMS module in it.

Thanks!

Do you have room for a 4500?

Hi Chris, In case you may not know, the 4500 is the same frame as the 3500 but with many improvements. There are 2 different styles of mounting, the panel mount and the slide in/tray mount. Good luck on your search

Default AF-3400ee unit

CJ: I have a 3400-EE unit that I could sell. I checked with AFS last year to get their records on it and can forward the email to you, FYI.
Anyone have ideas as to value?

Mike (email me at mikerkba( at ) aol.com.

Default On my 3400ee

Here is the email exchange to save you some time:

From Shawn at AFS:

Looks like a Non-S EFIS with Engine and Mapping and Internal AHRS. It could be traded-in for a 25% discount towards a new display.

Good morning. I own the AF-3400ee unit shown below. I had it as a spare when I own my RV7a. And then held onto it thinking I might put it into a later build. At this point I'm thinking of offering it to another homebuilder. Could you tell me what your records reflect regarding features and updates on this particular unit?

Thank you for your help.

I, too, am looking for an AF3400-EE unit. Need only the basic, older unit, not an "S" unit.
If the OP is looking for an "S" unit then this one you have, Mike, could well be of interest to me. Please check your PMs.

Thanks!

Default pics available

I took a bunch of pictures which I will send to Mark and the OP Conlimon.
Verified with AFS that this is a non-S unit.

(Unusually difficult customer experience with Shawn in the AFS support office. I recall AFS having stellar support. Did something happen at AFS while I was off Vans Air Force?)
