Default Dynon ADS-B trade-in program

I see there is a fairly low cost trade-in program....anyone updated their old 470 yet? Plug and play?

Guess my question was aimed more at the RV-12 ELSA community, just wondering if anyone has any experience with replacing their 470 in the RV-12 avionics bay with the 472 and if there were any gotchas.

I don't think they are shipping until after sun'n fun and it's smaller than the 470 so it will require some modification of the bracket, not sure if the plugs are the same.

I submitted the Trade-in form. The response indicated they wouldn't be starting the process until after Sun-N-Fun.

They say it's plug compatible although I think the antenna and electrical connectors are on opposite ends of the 472 instead of side-by-side in the 470.

Any chance ADS-B will be standard in the RV-12 package anytime soon? Is it already?

ADS-B is only useful in the USA, so it doesn't really make sense for a manufacturer to make it standard in kits that get used all over the world.
