Paul is right, the tour map lines are their to show the order of events. Each leg is decided bit the PIC and escort plane. If I made those decisions, the ONE would be flying right over my house ... several times

As for the SPOT button, thanks for the feedback. I'll do something to make it more obvious.

Default SnF?

Wow, taking the RV-1 to Sun n Fun seems very risky. What if there is a tornado? And then the next day they would haul it away in a dumpster without even asking permission. After all the work to get it restored......gosh I would be nervous to take it there.

Don't worry Steve, we have hangar space not far away for it, and will be keeping a VERY close eye on weather. If it doesn't look safe - at ANY point in the tour - then it doesn't go. It is sort of like operating warbirds - you either beleive that they should fly, or you don't.

Remember...."A ship in the harbour is safe - but that is not what ships are for"!

Louise---
Do you know who the pilots and support crew are going to be for the various legs? I think it would be neat to recognize them on this thread.

Hey Tom, it is a highly complicated plan that changes often enough that it's better to recognize them after the trip - otherwise it just gets confusing. Plans WILL change - sometimes at the last minute.

I received a quick update from the Tribute Tour staff. The RV-1 received a some TLC to the feul system and had a couple squawks cleared. It should be on its way to Florida during the week. the whole story and some pics have been posted to http://rv-1.org

Nice work and thanks to DanH and all that helped on he first leg !
