acceptable wear on the control or steering arm

I have a 1998 RV 4 with close to 600 hrs on it. I have notice on the control arm or steering arm (Vans style with the chains) for the lockable tail wheel, has a little play in it. From about 3/16 of an inch to no more than a 1/4 of an inch total play fore and aft. I take it apart and clean it each year and it seems to work ok, stays locked and unlocks when I need it to.

Wondering what's is acceptable as my Annual is coming up and I'm putting my parts list together.

Thanks

Tim

If it's still working and you're not noticing the wear, why change it!?

If you want to get a new one, just visit our web store. They're inexpensive.

I'd keep the old one around for a spare though as they do eventually wear out!

just trying to find out what the limits are

just trying to find out what the limits are. Your right the parts are cheap. Its the shipping and associated costs to get anything up into Canada.

USPS isn't too bad to get stuff to Canada. UPS and Fedex.... ugh.

Visit our booth at Oshkosh this summer and take a bunch of stuff home in your luggage!! :)
