Metal prop or carbon fiber

How does the inflight characteristics of a C/S light prop when your accustom to metal prop? Basically what should I expect power on, power off, fast rpm drop or slow drop in rpm?

The carbon fiber is going to be lighter, and will have less angular momentum, meaning that rpm changes will happen more quickly with rapid throttle movements.

I've noticed with my RPM set at 2500 (Whirlwind carbon fiber prop) when I run a tank dry to the point of power loss and switch over, the engine will of course surge when the fuel reaches the injectors again, the governor will catch it at about 2750-2800 rpm. I'm not sure how much overspeed you would get in a similar situation with a metal prop.

quick accel

WW200RV, one time only, I advanced the throttle quickly from zero speed. the prop reached 2700 rpm in about a second.
