So I used the temporary spacers under the detent bracket assembly to fit the VA110 flange flush, now can I remove the spacers?

The spacers are only there to mimic the yet to be assembled F-1228 seat floor cover. You will be removing the detent bracket in section 33, and the cover will go under it. Leave the shims in place as they need to be there when you fit the aileron torque tubes a little later in section 32.
