Default APRS TV live today (previously 5-30-14)

APRS TV of 22C will be live today beginning in about 30min. I'm sitting here flying my desk while Tanya has a mission:
fuel, depart home to Corsicana, TX (kcrs) to pick up her mother. fuel. Tanya, "I want those tanks FULL when I depart to go do the dance." Depart kcrs for North Little rock (ORK) Arkansas. She has an IFR flight plan filed for that last leg. The goal is to take her mother to a family wedding. Looking at the weather this morning, she said "I'm completely prepared not to make it or to spend the night somewhere else and try again tomorrow." Mom knows that too.

Bill, heads up! She has cookies onboard.

I sure am glad there is APRS on that thing!

I have to drive over there (Corsicana) once a month for work. Sure will be nice to have a plane again. APRS TV is really great! I may have to do that

Obviously, Vlad meant a "bucking bar".

My job is to provide logical ground ops guidance doing 0kts in my chair. Negative on flying IFR into that convective sigmet at this time...

Yep. Followed instructions to go get lunch and check back later. Now time to launch. Next stop Texarkana, then VFR below from there. Days like these will make a pilot out of you.

and we're off: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/N4822C

Looks like Tanya is working around and above some buildups. It's interesting how the Flightaware track runs several minutes behind the real-time aprs.fi track.

Hoping they have a stress-free and comfortable flight.

Looks like we're in the downwind at TXK to take a break and evaluate. I bet I get a call momentarily...

Climbing back in the saddle to go get a little wet.

And she is off again. Again with full fuel ready to duck and weave "I Follow Roads" is the plan... Only have to make it as far as the next airport.
