Default Would you fly your RV to Russia?

For adventurous types a question here. Would you like to fly your RV to Russia? A couple of my friends are interesting to visit the western neighbor with their RVs. I made a Day VFR trip from Alaska to Russia two years ago it was a challenge but only first time. Now I am planning another trip and would appreciate an escort.

I am making a short poll here. Take a look make a click. Elaborate if you wish

Nope. After seeing the photo of no-shirt Putin riding a Bear, I'll stay stateside and deal with Antifa.

I’d rather fly my Moose with the M14P....more payload to bring back glass AK’s filled with vodka.

Yes, that sounds like a lot of fun and adventure. My -7 is still under construction so maybe this could be an annual or biannual event that could be planned for.

I would love to do that. Of course, I would have to be inverted, so as to keep up international relations. I own a Polaroid.

If I thought for a minute it could be done in an RV-12, with no medical...

St. Petersburg will be a possible day trip for me when I am done with my 14. Not really the same as for you in the US.

There have been some general aviation flights between Sweden and Russia in the past but there is to much hassle and uncertainties to make it a regular thing. The last reports I read, talked about very high fees, questionable quality of the fuel and demands for flying IFR at min FL095.

No. I don't have a big enough hat to handle the cold.
