Has anyone gotten to the point of attaching that front skin (F-01471) between the firewall and the canopy? I am wondering how that area looks where those little cover clips (F-01449A) attach and what do you think the possibility of rain coming in there. If so, have you thought of a solution? I'm planning on using the avionics cover that Flightline Interiors sells, but not sure that will totally keep rain off the back of the instruments. I had a friend that lost two glass panels on a -6 because of rain seeping in. Thanks.

Later in the plans there are details regarding the installation of the cover clips.
If installed as specified, it should provide for a water proof seal.
