Getting stalled and need some help.
I have most of the airframe done and am working on fiberglass canopy and doors on a RV10 with quick build wings stored on a cradle right now. Have the top fitted, just not installed yet. I find myself needing a push to work on it much these days. I'm enjoying the process still, just not working near enough hours on it.
Considering the step of hiring some assistance to get it pushed across the finish line sooner rather than later. In March of next year my schedule will free up and I'll be able to temporarily relocated me and my project for builders assistance. I've reached out to a couple of folks who advertise that service, but one simply said too busy and one didn't respond. So.....
Who does builders assistance that would be willing to talk to me about help to finish my plane? I want to get a perspective on time and cost to take this route.
Also, for those who have gone before me, I have heard it said that when I get the windshield in, I'm 1/2 way done. Is that true? Trying to gauge how far along I am. (Canopy fitted and working on door locking mechanisms right now).
Any advice or insight would be appreciated. Here's a couple of pics showing current state of build....
