Default Harmon Rocket crash in Corona, ca (transitioned to funds for survivor)

Sorry to say the pilot did not make it and the passenger was put into induced coma but is expected to survive.
This was a Harmon rocket that was located in Corona airport.

Sorry to hear about this...

Very sobering...the pictures look like that is a survivable put down...I would have thought folks might be banged up, but...not a fatality.

Going to have to see what the NTSB says...

Prayers for the families on the way...

First time I am happy to see "serious injuries". This is much better than a fatality.

Best wishes and prayers to both occupants for speedy, full recovery

Default Accident

Aircraft built in 2010, registered to Corona address, apparently the original builder.

This report differs from the ASN report? It says "minor" damage. 1 dead, nothing about a passenger?

Exclamation Updated

There appear to have been updates to the FAA report. Same link as earlier -

http://www.asias.faa.gov/pls/apex/f?...,HARMON+ROCKET

It does now mention a passenger (serious condition) and unfortunately a fatality for the pilot.
