I didn't take many pics at Oshkosh since I was pretty busy talking to vendors, but here are a few that I like. I only had a point and shoot with me, so unfortunately didn't get many flying pics.

The Honda jet was very quiet and very cool!

Pro pics

My favorite thing to do at Osh is take someone for their first time. I have done it many times, five years in a row this stretch. This year I took a good friend, John Walton, from near Chicago. He is a pro photographer. If you have 1 1/2 minutes, check out his slide show at www.villageave.com/oshkosh If you look quick, he is the one in the back seat of the Breezy.

Nice David. You shot a lot.

Bob, your friend has some great shots in that presentation. Is there any chance that he could make it so that we can step through them one by one to enjoy them more?

I waited for the presentation to end and then took the slider at the bottom and moved through them one by one. You might try that, but it may depend on your system.

Based one the gear placement and sweep, I'd say it was a Rocket.

You could do the cowling, fastback and canopy on an -8 but based on the gear placement and sweep, I'd say it was a Rocket.

Rocket or RV8?

The RV-8 in question (I'm pretty sure) is a fastback RV-8 modified with parts from showplanes.com.
 
This one looks like a rocket:

This one looks like a RV-8 Fastback that looks a little rocket ish. Notice the gear and the cowl are different.
