RV Newbie Here

Jeff RV8A

I'm New Here
I bought my first RV last week, just finished my transition training yesterday.
I'm a semi-retired engineer, been flying for 3 years.
Had my first plane, a Diamond DA20, for 1-1/2 years.
Flew my second plane, a Cirrus SR20-GTS, for another 1-1/2 years.
Flew a T-34, a Glasair III, and a few Lancair Legacy's before settling on the RV-8A. What a great plane! No wonder y'all like them so much!
Here (hopefully) are some pics:

Great Airplane

I flew the test phase off on your airplane and it was a perfect flying and running airplane from day one.
The panel has been changed some.
Enjoy.

I liked it the second I saw it

Robert, I bought it from Mike L. He did make a lot of changes - new Whirlwind composite prop, Garmin 530/327, TruTrak A/P, electric gyros, EFIS-D10A, EI fuel comp, etc. He rarely flew it, has about 100TT. Thanks for the flight report. Bill, my sordid background was EE, semiconductor. Managed to escape from my cubicle, now spend my time finding new creative ways to lose money. Looking forward to some light aerobatics training and formation flying. The RV8 is all the plane I need, though I have toyed with the idea of picking up a J3 Cub to keep down south.
