EI Fuel flow sensor.

I am trying to figure out the best place to install the EI fuel flow sensor in my RV-8. When I talked to EI support, they said I would need to run a longer fuel line from the fuel pump to possibly the firewall and then run another hose to the carb.

He said it was required to be on the output side of the engine driven fuel pump.

Anybody else done this or is there a easier way?

I have an O360 with a carburetor.

Place it between the pump and carb, similar to what Vans does on the RV14. Yes, the pump discharge hose will have to be modified into 2 sections.

That is what I am going to do, I don't like having more connections but I guess it is the only way.
