Anticipating a long trip, I decided I needed a lock to the canopy. Still working a way to lock the canopy from the front baggage compartment, but made a quick latch to hold the canopy open a few inches. This, along with a standard canopy cover should be OK for now. Used 16Gauge steel. May still trim it up a bit.
