You might try calling W&C aircraft works in Boone, IA. Not too far away from Chicago and they have a lot of experience with various RV aircraft. There was a 14 being built there when I took a class from them. I'm not sure if they offer pre-buy but they may be able to vector you to someone that can. Also Vic Syracuse down in Atlanta. I've heard a lot of good about him through the grapevine.
