Default Final drilling landing gear mount?

On page 25-3. Did step 2 and when I put it on the center section it didnít fit properly with the bolts through it. The landing gear mount is ever so slightly off and some bolts wonít go through. Can I drill from the othe side to make it fit?
Thank

Welcome to the dreaded landing gear mount. I had the same issue. I took a AN-14 bolt and made a drift pin to help encourage the bolt holes into alignment. A rubber mallet is essential along with a few curse words

Itís not going to work. Can I just drill from behind and use the F-1004E or F1004E for a guide.

Thanks,
Ken

Not sure if this will help but on the 14 the powder coating on the legs was a problem, sanding it off in the conflicting areas really helped line everything up.
