Default In the old D-180 setup

Anyone know where the remote compass module was mounted? Don't have a lot of time to look for it and never built one of that configuration. Getting all the avionics free and don't want to do too much digging into someone else's airplane. Also, what is a D-180 worth these days? Thanks

Bob

It's attached to the top of the F-1208 bulkhead back in the tailcone. I hope the plane in question has the split baggage bulkhead.

Not Dynon, but Van's unless the RV-12 was built as E-AB and the builder decided to move it.

Default THANKS Dave - -

When any issues come up, I would like to have a spare D-180 mother board to look at, at home, before having to remove and take back to the airport and try it again. I have had 3 - 4 times that it would be nice to have a spare. I'm sure there are some just sitting on someone's shelf someplace.
