Default Help with a measurement

Our Eagles Nest project is starting to lay in the fuselage wiring, the WH-00045 and WH-00046. The red bands have slipped, however, so we can't tell where to initially position the harnesses.

Can someone who has the harnesses handy measure the distance from the connector to the red band for both of the harnesses?

I thought I remembered seeing a similar post 2 or 3 years ago but can't seem to find it.

Thanks

Tom,
There are actually two bands on the legacy fuse harness, an upper and lower. If you don't get a response here, I can get the upper measurment from Montgomery on Thurs. Keep up the great work!

Thanks, that would be great if someone doesn't put it up first.

Tom,

On the older wire harness the bands are located approximately 23" and 62" from the end of the connector. That should get you in the ballpark. I had the same problem as you in that my red bands moved as well. I used a sharpie and painted marks on the wires.

Happy building,

Thanks, John. I knew I'd seen those measurements somewhere, it might have been your site rather than the forum. Thanks again.

The wire part numbers include the length (unless they changed them recently).
Edit: Oops, I misinterpreted the question.
