I'm close to the decision point on ordering QB wings which was my original intention. I will be interested in your opinion, once your rebuild is completed, for an estimate of the time you have invested in this effort. I'm not sure I need the extra eight gallons but I know I will not need leaks and other issues to deal with in the future due to poor workmanship in QB wings. That being said, I have found the workmanship on my QB fuselage to be quite good.

As I mentioned before , I was apprehensive of the quick build tanks. Way to many reports of leaks developing after a couple years of use. I found no signs of preparation of the sealing/mating surfaces. They probably wiped them down though. Hated what I found when I opened them up. Much worse than I expected. The extra 8 gallons, p4 gallons per side, will give about 1.3 hours of flight time at cruise should one fill the tanks completely. The ER tanks would be much easier to build from scratch IMHO. Iíll be keeping track of hours spent from start to finish along with a materials needed and money spent on this project.
