I too have found my fuel pressure issues (even after a new Mech pump and new sensor) disappear since I drilled out my cap. Call me crazy but I would see low fuel pressure (2.2) at the end of a long flight ( fuel getting under 8 gal) dropping down from altitude....pressure now hovers 3.7 to 5.2 all the time. Whatever works.
