Canopy FWD fuselage joint

Hello everybody out there.
I heard from a fellow builder that fairings are being offered (at least for RV-7 and RV-8) which can be glued in place on the joint between front edge of the canopy and front fuselage. It would eliminate (or definitely reduce) the work and effort to shape the joint with fiberglass and epoxy. Too good to be true.

Fact of fiction?

I don't know whether such a pre-made fairing is available, but there's no need to fear the process of fashioning it for oneself. Fiberglass work is a little messy, but trivially simple. Mistakes are easy to fix and creating the forward canopy fairing will take only a few hours spread over several days.

Just do it; you'll be glad that you did.
