Tried to get a call in to Van's support today but after 10 min. the line went to dial tone, so I gave up. They only has one advisor in today (Oshkosh ?).
Looking at installing the engine cowl and I do believe we need the engine and prop installed to adjust the cowl to fit, as page 45-05 , step one says to remove the spinner. Sections 43 (engine install) and 44 (prop and spinner install) are not out as of yet. Anyone know if we can purchase the vibration dampeners and bolts now and also the prop bolts and backing plate at least?
Or better yet if the kits for section 43 and 44 will soon be available? Perhaps all that is needed are the parts I listed, for section 43 and 44.
