Riveting HS-407 tip rib

I'm at the point of drilling the rivet holes for the HS-407 tip rib. If I maintain the nominal spacing (1.25") I can get 5 rivets per side. This puts one rivet in the flange area forward of the notch. I can also space the last 3 rivets 7/8" apart and get 2 into the forward area for a total of 6. The plans don't seem to indicate how many to put there. I want the skin to conform to the rib shape.

Spacing

Hi

Whenever I ran into this I put 2 in the end just making sure there was sufficient edge clearance. It probably does not make much difference either way.

I think the RV-7 tip gives an example of how the later pre-punched kits space the rivets.

Looks like two rivets in the forward tab at reduced spacing -

Thanks guys, this is actually the middle nose rib not the tip rib. I have a friends set of RV8 plans and they show only 1 rivet in that location but 2 wouldn't hurt. Vans technical support said either should be fine.
