Canopy deck rivets

I just riveted the canopy deck using the specified CS-4 pull rivets and there is the usual hole where the rivet shank breaks off. I will be painting my interior soon. Has anyone filled in the holes in the rivet head with anything like epoxy? The top of the canopy deck is only visible when the canopy is open.

I filled the CS4 holes with a fiberglass epoxy (G/Flex), then sanded with 120 and then 220 prior to painting. The results have held up well. (As with much of my pre-painting fiberglass work, some additional sanding would have improved the finished product.)

We used body filler and got rid of the rivets all together.
Turned out nice.

Thanks for the input. I will probably go the auto body filler route. I am using a Mil Spec high solids polyurethane for my interior so it should cover the filled in rivets nicely.
